Over the phone, the soft spoken yet charismatic Shane R. Duffy opens up to us about his current projects and businesses. The half Irish half Panamanian face of Daniel Dolce- Italy has his hands full between modeling, producing and competing in triathalons throughout the USA. Speaking of which, those hands are also one of his modeling assets.
Not bad for a shy guy from Texas who when discovered at Sea World was a double-major
college student. Duffy's model portfolio blossomed his senior year when casted for a DAFT runway show and later when representing Dillard's Latin line called "Contigo". How exactly does he balance a career in fashion and his other endeavors? His reply, "One allows me to do the other, I have consistent projects yet still have some free time, but I choose to use my spare time to better myself". Currently he enjoys spending his free time staying physically active and participating in triathlons. Being confident, disciplined, steady and grounded allows him to achieve his goals.
Beyond his success, he has a great personal style which he shares with Uzuri readers. He says that what separates him from every other male model is his own personal style, that can be described as a "mix between rocker and relaxed", in which he likes to incorporate jewelry and maybe an undone shirt. He states, "You have to be comfortable in what you are wearing". His aspirations for the future are to remain a model and transition into acting, writing, and producing".
Duffy has dabbled in a few business ventures and his current and most exciting endeavor is producing a reality show called “Hott and Handy”. A reality show that will feature hunks helping women satisfy out of reach household repair. in NYC, LA, and Miami.
Shane R. Duffy is definitely one to watch out for in the near future!
