The show, which took place in the stunning Ramses Hilton ballroom Cairo, was a huge success. The French fashion designer team Jeremy Bueno and singer Prescillia Andreani pulled out all the stops to please their public. At “A French night in Cairo,” Prescillia sang an array of traditional French tunes, each song interlaced with a mesmerizing display of the Bueno collection..
Prescillia Andreani has just released her new album, and will make her screen debut in "The Turf," starring alongside one of France’s most renowned actors, Gerard Depardieu.
The fashion show featured flowing dresses made from soft, light muslin silk, numerous enticing, unique Couture pieces, pirate blouses with plunging frilly necklines, pencil skirts and skinny trousers—a seriously sensual collection designed for women who are proud of their bodies.
The silhouettes came in shades of earth tones from soft creams and peachy hues to blues, slate gray, and black, contrasted with vibrant reds and divine explosions of jade green.
A formal sit-down dinner with the finest French cuisine was served to the 400 VIP guests who attended the event. The Egyptian team was incredible—the stage design beautifully showcased the team’s talent, and the hair and makeup team proved that elegance and artistic talent are certainly not in short supply in Cairo.
It was a pleasure to work alongside the beautiful Egyptian models, who were not only professional, but also willing to help each other.
UZURI Magazine will definitely be tapping into the wealth of Egyptian talent in future issues by featuring articles on Egyptian fashion and beauty.
