The Lebanese fashion designer Ziad Nakad knew from a very young age that he wants to work in the fascinating world of fashion.
Since his teenage years, he was attracted by unconventional creations with eccentric fabrics, sheer embroideries, and gorgeous beadings.
Encouraged by his success, the young and well-talented designer decided to explore his passion and grasp dressmaking while pursuing his studies in the field. He was able to master the art of designing by working with several famous fashion designers in Beirut.
In 1997, he turned his dream into a successful career when he founded his namesake atelier, creating masterpieces with a dramatic flair for both local and international clientele, from casual to glamourous ready-to-wear, couture, and even bridal wear.
In the same year, he took part in the Beirut International Fashion Show for Couture and dressed famous supermodels, namely Karen Mudler, NadjaUrman, and Jennifer Driver.
His first fashion shows grabbed the attention and praise of critics, which helped him to open the doors to a series of shows, garnering international interest.
This interesting exposure led him to gain another milestone in his growing career as the designer went on to present his collections in fashion capitals like Milano in 2001 and Cannes in 2003.
Dressing famous personalities and being celebrated for his ability to reflect on femininity with outlandish and unique creations meant for every woman, Ziad Nakad is now a renowned designer in Lebanon, the Middle East, the North Africa region, Europe, and the Americas.
